We are also analysing the function of cell wall proteins of the 10950 family (PF10950) in plant development. In general we study:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Functional analysis of plant cell wall proteins (\u03b2-galactosidases, expansins, pectinases, XTH).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Cell wall remodelling during plant development, mainly in length growth.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Legume cell wall ST proteins (DUF2775, PF10950, proteins with tandem repeats, function in the plant).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Arabidopsis and legume cell wall SST proteins (DUF2775, PF10950, function in the plant).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Currently, we are focusing on 2 specific lines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Functional analysis of \u03b2-galactosidases from <em>Cicer arietinum<\/em> and the a1 subfamily of \u03b2-galactosidases from <em>Arabidopsis thaliana<\/em> and their role in cell wall remodelling.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Study of PF10950 proteins. Determination of their hitherto unknown function in the development of the legumes <em>Cicer arietinum<\/em> and <em>Medicago truncatula<\/em> and the brassicacea <em>Arabidopsis thaliana<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h6>Key words<\/h6>\n<p>Cell walls.
